Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $10.64-$14.10 per hour

The Role: An OD Tech/Optometric Assistant at Visionworks is the face of our exam practice, ensuring the best experience for every patient. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, assisting with preliminary testing, and supporting store operations.

• Maintain accurate patient records and conduct preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and relay important information.
• Assist in transitioning patients from exam to sales floor, recommending suitable products/services.
• Support daily operational activities such as inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones.
• Support store opening/closing as needed.

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required.
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Licensed OD Techs must maintain a State Opticians License.
