Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $13.70-$18.47 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best patient experience. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a human and confident manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide essential patient information.
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with relevant information to recommend suitable products and services.
• Support daily operations including restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
