Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $13.70 - $18.47 per hour.

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient. This role involves being trained and knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor and assist associates with educating and recommending products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Support store operations, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not necessary
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is also acceptable
