Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, ensuring the best possible journey for every patient. They are trained and knowledgeable about eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide relevant patient information.
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Support store operations including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience.

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred, but not required.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; related job experience is a plus.
