Pay Type: Part Time, 20 - 29 hours

Pay Range: $17.80 - $26.70 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, dedicated to ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records prior to preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share important information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing staff with necessary patient information
• Support daily operational activities such as restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
