Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our Exam Practice, committed to ensuring the best experience for every patient. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eye exam needs are addressed in a simple, human, and bold manner.

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and provide important patient information
• Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor, providing associates with necessary information to educate and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Support daily operational activities to maintain the store's exam lane and enhance patient experience, including restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, and answering phones to meet patient needs

Qualifications:

• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent related job experience
