Pay Type: Part Time

Pay Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the first point of contact for our exam practice, ensuring a positive patient experience. This role involves knowledge of eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their vision care journey, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly and professional manner.

• Maintain accurate patient records prior to preliminary testing
• Introduce patients to the OD and share relevant patient information
• Assist in transitioning patients from the doctor to the sales floor and provide staff with necessary information to recommend suitable products and services
• Support daily store operations, including restocking, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications:

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
