Pay Details

• Type: Part Time
• Range: $15-$18.54 per hour

The Role

A Visionworks Clinical Specialist (CS)/Optometric Assistant is the face of our exam practice, ensuring a positive patient journey. This role involves training and knowledge in eye health, preliminary testing, optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The CS guides patients through the initial steps of their eye care experience, ensuring their needs are met in a friendly, straightforward manner.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain accurate patient records before preliminary testing
2. Introduce patients to the OD and share important information
3. Transition patients from the doctor to the sales floor and assist in product recommendations
4. Support daily operational activities, including inventory, equipment cleaning, and answering phones to enhance patient experience

Qualifications

• Customer or patient service experience preferred but not required
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
