We are seeking an Optoelectronics Engineer to lead the Optical Module development from concept through production, selecting technologies, designing, integrating and productizing the CPO solution with substantial hands-on

Qualifications

• BS in Optics or Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of hands-on experience developing high-speed optical modules.
• Experience with PAM transmission and 2.5D/3D Optical-Electronic integration is valuable.
• Strong understanding of Silicon Photonics, Semiconductor Physics and Optical-Electronic integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the Optical Module from concept through production.
• Participate in technology selection, architecture, design, integration and productization of the CPO solution.
• Own key technical aspects with significant hands-on responsibility and contribute to building the new product family.

We are working on behalf of a very fast-growing maker of Fiber Optic Connectivity products for Data Centers. They are starting up a group focused on Co-Packaged Optics (CPO), extending their products deeper into AI Data Centers and working with Optical Engine technology and highly integrated Optoelectronic components.

We are looking for an Optoelectronics Engineer who will help lead development of the Optical Module from concept through production. Will work on technology selection, architecture, design, integration and productization of the CPO solution.

• Should have experience with high-speed Optical Devices such as Lasers, Photodetectors, Modulators, and Integrated Optical components, along with a strong understanding of Silicon Photonics, Semiconductor Physics and Optical-Electronic integration.
• We are looking for a BS in Optics or Electrical Engineering and 3+ years of hands-on experience developing high-speed Optical Modules. Experience with PAM transmission, 2.5D/3D Optical-Electronic integration and Si/CMOS/MEMS technologies would be valuable.
• This is a hands-on role with significant technical ownership and the opportunity to help build the company’s new CPO product family.
• We can also consider a student with an Advanced degree in Photonics, Optical Engineering, or a related field if they have 3 years of experience.
