Job summary

Corning Advanced Optics in Keene, NH is seeking a Summer Engineering Intern to assist in the design, analysis, and fabrication of high-precision opto-mechanical systems. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, engineer, build, and test new products for aerospace, defense, and sensing applications.

This internship offers hands-on experience with CAD, analysis tools, and manufacturing processes, plus housing/travel assistance and a final project presentation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology
• Basic understanding of mechanical design practices, mechanical fabrication and assembly techniques.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
