Job summary

KLA invites highly motivated interns to join our Ann Arbor, Michigan team this coming summer. You will work on opto-mechanical sub-assemblies for precision inspection tools, designing and documenting optical systems while collaborating with electrical and software engineers in a hands-on lab setting.

You will gain experience with Zemax and CREO, develop strong analytical and communication skills, and contribute to a broader project in a collaborative, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a graduate program in Optics, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Immigration authorization to undertake corporate internship projects.
Experience with Zemax and CREO is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop opto-mechanical sub-components for KLA's inspection tools.
Design, model and document optical systems.
Collaborate with engineers from electrical, optical engineering and computer science.
Hands-on setup and alignment of opto-mechanical sub-assemblies in a laboratory environment.
