Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering
• GPA 3.0 or higher
• CAD experience, preferably SOLIDWORKS
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design components for DSI Optronics products, production equipment, and test equipment using SOLIDWORKS
• Produce engineering drawings for fabrication using SOLIDWORKS
• Prepare engineering BOMs for Optronics products using SOLIDWORKS and ARAS Innovator
• Perform and report functional and environmental testing of prototype and production products
• Assemble prototype products and create work instructions
• Conduct finite element analysis on thermal and structural performance
