Job summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a detail-oriented Analyst to own daily reconciliation, settlement, and expiration processing for the options book. You will ensure accuracy and protect client assets by catching breaks early and collaborating with trading, product, and engineering teams.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in OCC/CDCC or broker-dealer ops, strong SQL/data skills, and flexibility to support market-event hours.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of back-office reconciliations, settlements, or options clearing (OCC/CDCC) at a broker-dealer or registered investment dealer.
• Strong data handling skills and attention to detail.
• Able to query data daily and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Own daily reconciliation, settlement, and expiration processing across the options book and resolve breaks before they reach clients.
• Serve as SME on OCC/CDCC clearing (incl. SOLA), handling exercises, assignments, and transfers.
• Partner with Trade Desk, engineering, and other ops teams to fix trade/position discrepancies and reduce risk.
• Use pivot tables, lookups, and SQL to identify inefficiencies and implement fixes.
• Build and improve workflows to scale with growing options volume.
• Develop processes to increase back-office efficiency.
