Job summary

Clearstead Advisors LLC is seeking a Sr. Operations Analyst to support the Operations team with account onboarding, portfolio accounting maintenance, and reliable reporting across daily, monthly, and quarterly cycles.

The role partners with internal teams and custodians to resolve exceptions, maintain data integrity, and drive process improvements. You will oversee data configuration, reconciliations, and production of standardized outputs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in finance or analytics.
• 3–5 years in financial services or wealth management operations.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with custodians and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead key operational processes to ensure daily, monthly, and quarterly workflows run smoothly.
• Onboard and set up new accounts and maintain data in portfolio accounting and reporting systems.
• Monitor data feeds, ensure timely updates, and resolve exceptions with custodians.
• Produce standardized monthly and quarterly reporting and related deliverables.
• Document procedures and train Operations Analysts to enable cross-coverage.
• Handle account closures and client offboarding per procedures.
• Support data aggregation setup and maintenance for reporting workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance controls.
