Job summary

Cardinal Health seeks a Contract Administrator to support OptiFreight contracts within Sales Operations. The role collaborates with Legal, Sales, Finance, and other teams to ensure compliant contracting aligned with business strategy.

Responsibilities include drafting contracts in Apttus, reviewing terms, gathering inputs, redlining, and supporting dashboards and templates. Requires 3–5 years of related experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Advanced Degree preferred.
• 3 - 5 years of related experience in contracts or legal/paralegal roles.
• Strong negotiation, contract drafting, communication skills, attention to detail, and time management.
• Must be a quick learner with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
• MS Office proficiency, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in contracting processes and CLM systems knowledge.
• Healthcare/pharma or other regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer contract terms and activations and all related contracting activities.
• Draft contracts in Apttus using OptiFreight templates.
• Review contracts for adherence to standard business terms.
• Collect and document inputs from cross-functional teams (Sales, Product Marketing, Finance).
• Review, analyze and redline customer contracts to align with OptiFreight language.
• Evaluate non-standard terms and report risk mitigations.
• Coordinate stakeholder review and approvals for redlines.
• Initiate implementation activities for fully executed contracts.
• Support sales with custom contract language and routine contracting questions.
• Develop and maintain contract dashboards and templates.
