Job summary

Qualifications

• AS degree with 3+ years of related experience OR BS in optics/optical engineering/physics or related field.
• Training to be completed per the training plan and annual policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with optical testing of RxLAL and related products, incl. interferometry, MTF, and other measurements.
• Work in the lab to assist with nomogram development for the light adjustable lens.
• Prepare and present data summaries and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering/staff on fabrication and testing of prototypes; modify designs as needed.
• Design and commercialize new products based on light adjustable materials technology.
• Ensure laboratory equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Modify hardware and build test/manufacturing fixtures as needed.
