The candidate will drive performance, oversee budgets, ensure ITAR/EAR compliance, and advance ISO standards while mentoring cross-functional teams in a fast-paced optics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 10–15 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Experience in optics, photonics, or high-tech manufacturing preferred.
• Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or government contracts required.
• Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR compliance and export controls.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership across manufacturing, supply chain, and logistics.
• Drive SQDC objectives and ensure throughput, yield, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost controls to improve margins.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR/EAR, ISO and military specifications.
• Build and develop high-performing cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Quality on NPI and DFx initiatives.
