Honeywell Aerospace in South Bend, Indiana, is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and drive daily operations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives. You will partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality production.

You will mentor engineers, manage priorities, and champion continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance throughput,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in manufacturing engineering, operations engineering, industrial engineering, or related field.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvements in a production environment.
• Experience supervising or developing engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, process development, and continuous improvement
• Ability to solve complex manufacturing and operational challenges in fast-paced settings

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of Manufacturing Engineers and set priorities to meet objectives.
• Provide engineering leadership for day-to-day production activities and issue resolution.
• Drive Lean, Six Sigma and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing ops.
• Develop manufacturing strategies, processes, and production standards.
• Oversee work instructions, process docs, and SOPs; train personnel.
• Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Product Engineering, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements in manufacturing.
