Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Assembler, Optics to oversee shift operations in an optics assembly environment. You will conduct daily stand-ups, review safety and quality metrics, and coordinate with leads and supervisors to ensure targets are met.

The role requires hands-on assembly leadership, training coordination, and adherence to PPE and EH&S requirements in a manufacturing setting. 8/10/12 hour shifts and a focus on workflow optimization are included.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate ability to lead shift and team meetings.
• Knowledge of 5S principles and audits.

• Strong communication with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stand-up at shift start and review safety, quality, and targets.
• Coordinate training opportunities and staffing strategy with supervisors.
• Monitor production lines, ensure tools and paperwork are ready for each shift.
• Direct shift changes, manage workflow, and enforce PPE and safety policies.
• Escalate equipment or safety concerns to leadership; drive continuous improvement.
