Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or related experience)
• Optical mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Optics handling and cleaning a plus
• Ability to solder; soldering certifications a plus
• English reading/writing and ability to follow written directions
• Proficient in math; ERP system experience is a plus
• Ability to problem solve; attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and work instructions
• Operate torque tools, electric drivers, hand tools and optical equipment
• Maintain quality workmanship and lean manufacturing standards
• Keep workspace clean and adhere to 6S standards
• Perform soldering and some electronic assembly
• Identify lens debris and defects; inspect workmanship
