Job summary

Luxottica is seeking an Optician to educate customers and elevate performance with Oakley products. You will lead optical operations, partner with management to drive Rx expansion, and build a knowledgeable team through hands-on coaching and strong customer service.

You’ll engage the local community, deliver expert product guidance, and ensure customers receive the highest performance from lenses and frames. This role supports a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Knowledge of optical theory and practices.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Create exceptional customer experiences with urgent, attentive service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and describe features/benefits of lenses and frames.
• Lead optical operations in partnership with store management.
• Foster learning so team members become experts in optical products and services.
• Engage the local community to grow the customer base.
• Resolve issues promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain store appearance and support daily retail operations.
• Contribute to floor and fixture changes as needed.
