Job summary

Oakley is seeking an Optician to educate and push the boundaries of what is possible through elevating performance of our customers; both on and off the field.

As a business leader within Oakley Retail, you will engage the community, inspire learning among the team, grow the business through exceptional customer service, and ensure Oakley customers receive the highest performance from our optical products and services.

Qualifications

• Must have current State Optician License.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Knowledge of current optical theory and practices.
• 1+ years of retail sales experience.
• Flexibility to open/close store including nights and weekends.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and move on sales floor.
• Able to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Creates an exceptional customer experience and provides prompt service.
• Demonstrates product knowledge and explains lens & frame features.
• Leads optical operations in partnership with Store Management.
• Fosters an environment of learning for the team.
• Engages with local community to grow customer base.
• Resolves customer issues quickly and effectively.
• Performs retail operations with accuracy under pressure.
• Supports store policies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintains store appearance and assists with floor changes.
• Other duties as needed to support store operations.
