Job summary

Warby Parker is opening a new store at Shoppes of Burnt Mills and seeks a licensed dispensing optician to join our in-house optical team. You will help customers see better by measuring, fitting, and explaining prescription terminology and product options, while delivering exceptional service.

You’ll collaborate with a motivated team to uphold our brand standards, schedule adjustments, and ensure eyewear meets optical specs.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license
• ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Check eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to ensure exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style and lifestyle
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent the Warby Parker brand and educate others about our values and mission
