Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, or 10 years of work experience.
• At least 1 year of optical field or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and analyzes prescriptions and history for consistency.
• Troubleshoots vision issues related to glasses and contacts.
• Assists patients with eyewear choices and frame selections.
• Demonstrates features to reinforce value and drive sales.
• Takes PD, seg heights and fit measurements accurately.
• Fits eyewear and explains cleaning and storage techniques.
• Inspects jobs with a lensometer for verification and labs corrections.
• Manages on-site inventory within budgets.
• Assists in dispensing contact lenses at some locations.
• Maintains knowledge of available insurance and safety plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
