Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking an Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care in Lincoln, NE. You will ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and precise lens dispensing while delivering a superior patient experience.

The role requires assisting patients with frame and lens choices, educating on care and insurance coverage, and coordinating with technicians and doctors to ensure timely delivery of eyewear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Minimum of one-year experience as an Optician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient and explains customized recommendations.
• Receives patient handoff and asks lifestyle questions to identify needs.
• Keeps up-to-date on products, rebates, lenses and frames.
• Handles calls, updates patients on order status, and resolves issues with management escalation.
• Helps patients select frames, lens types, and treatments including tints and coatings.
• Educates patients on eyeglass and contact lens care, warranties, and coverage options.
