Big City Optical is seeking an Optician to join our team in Chicago. You will work with the optometrist to match lenses and frames to patient needs, accurately fit eyewear, and educate patients on lens options to ensure optimal vision.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Detail orientation and good time management are important for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-examination assessments of patients.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses.
• Accurately measure and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses.
• Educate patients on lens options and benefits.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of eyewear trends and lens tech.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues professionally.
