Clarkson Eyecare is seeking an Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts from Optometrist and Ophthalmologist prescriptions. You will guide patients in choosing frames, perform measurements, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while supporting medical needs.

The role requires prioritizing a world-class patient experience, with opportunities to contribute to retail sales and patient care in a dynamic eye-care setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year minimum experience interacting with customers/patients or equivalent.
• Previous ophthalmic experience preferred.
• ABO/ABOC and NCLE certifications preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience by building relationships with patients while providing medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on style, color, facial and eye measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate optical equipment (lensometer) and advise on lenses, coatings, and frames.
• Accurately capture measurements (e.g., PD, bridge, eye size) and dispense orders in the system.
