Job summary

The Eye Doctors in Salina, KS is seeking an Optical Technician with training provided to join our front desk and clinical support team. You will dispense glasses and contacts, assist patients with frame selections, and coordinate measurements with eye care professionals.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and prior customer service experience. This role requires availability for a full-time schedule and on-site work in our Salina location.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret insurance forms and basic documents.
• Comfort with customer interactions and PHI privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide world-class front desk support and assist with optical patient experience.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate fittings.
• Operate optical equipment and capture patient measurements as required.
• Dispense glasses and contacts orders per prescriptions and policies.
• Maintain orderly, clean, and compliant work areas and office duties as assigned.
