Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Overland, MO seeks an Eyewear Associate / Optical Technician to dispense and fit glasses and contacts under eye care professionals. You will connect patient needs to products and services while supporting a world-class Total Patient Experience.

The role requires strong communication, measurement calculations, and customer service skills, plus proficiency with frames and lensometry. Full-time, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year in a customer/patient facing role or equivalent.
• ABO/ABOC/NCLE certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience while providing medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on measurements and prescriptions.
• Operate auto-lensometer and lensometer.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders in the system (E360).
• Maintain frame inventory and assist with office duties as needed.
