Job summary

Clarkson Eyecare in Chesterfield, MO is seeking an Eyewear Associate (Optical Technician) to dispense and fit glasses and contacts from optometrists' prescriptions, and assist patients in selecting frames while ensuring a world-class Total Patient Experience.

You will operate the auto-lensometer and collaborate with the optical team to deliver patient care. Requires a high school diploma; ophthalmic experience is preferred. This is a full-time position with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office experience preferred; ophthalmic experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year interacting with customers/patients or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with patients while delivering medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames according to style and measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.
• Dispense glasses and contact lens orders and manage inventory.
