Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Systems Engineering Program Lead for the Optical Systems program in Wilmington, MA. You will guide systems engineering tasks, manage requirements, and lead cross‑functional teams on space-based optical systems.

The role requires a strong background in electro‑optical design, MBSE, and space environment programs, with a Secret security clearance often preferred. Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field with 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Graduate degree with at least 7 years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage system tasking activities to ensure timely and effective completion.
• Manage priorities while balancing program demands to meet project objectives.
• Lead risk management processes and maintain the Risk Register.
• Provide training and mentoring to team members to promote skill development.
• Review SDRL and oversee Level 1–3 specifications and related documentation.
