Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Electro-Optical (EO) Systems Engineer in Wilmington, MA. You will develop advanced electro-optical systems and lead technical project execution in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 9 years of experience in EO/IR systems engineering, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Physics. Responsibilities include designing systems and mentoring junior engineers. A sign-on bonus of up to $30K is offered.

Qualifications

• 9 years of relevant space-based EO/IR systems engineering work experience.
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) and Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL).
• 5+ years of experience in electro-optics, including design and imaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate advanced electro-optical systems for space applications.
• Conduct modeling and simulation activities to predict system performance.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers.
