Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required, an associate degree in opticianry is preferred.
• ABO certification is mandatory.
• 1+ year of retail store management experience.
• 2+ years as an optician in retail or optometrist setting.
• Strong eyewear fitting, adjustment and assembly skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to train, support, and motivate team members while leading by example.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the store team in delivering exceptional customer service and achieving store goals.
• Oversee day-to-day store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory and administration.
• Create a warm, vibrant, and professional store environment for customers and staff.
• Handle customer concerns with honesty, integrity, and promptness.
• Coach, train, and support team members while modeling strong work ethic.
• Conduct regular meetings with the Assistant Store Manager and team to improve service and sales.
• Drive commitment to high standards of service and exceed customer expectations.
• Ensure eyewear products are created with speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Use optical expertise to adjust, fit, and assemble eyeglasses per customer needs.
• Support the District Manager and uphold company standards and objectives.
