Qualifications

• Experience in optical sales and supervising staff is preferred.
• Ability to lead, coach and build strong associate relationships.
• Solid understanding of store operations and success metrics.
• Strong communication skills for managing teams and conflict resolution.
• Excellent organizational skills for planning and tracking progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial reports and KPIs.
• Proven problem-solving abilities across varied scopes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee eyeglass department to ensure efficiency and policy compliance.
• Monitor profit, sales and performance against goals (P&L review).
• Ensure outstanding customer service and that associates do the same.
• Review remakes and maintain quality standards across operations.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Manage store promotions, advertising and visual merchandising; train staff on promotions.
• Supervise and motivate Opticians and sales associates; ensure timely day-to-day tasks.
• Assist GM with staffing forecasts, recruitment and retention of quality staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
