Job summary

Eyeglass World, Inc. is seeking an Optical Specialist to join our in-store team, delivering brand-aligned service while guiding eyewear selection and ensuring a seamless experience from pre-exam support to pickup.

With 1+ year in optical, retail, sales, or customer service, you’ll excel at attention to detail, multitasking, and clear communication. Bilingual abilities are a plus; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
• 1+ year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service (Required).
• Strong multitasking, time management and organizational skills (Required).
• Clear communication and the ability to educate customers effectively (Required).
• Ability to prioritize customer satisfaction at every interaction (Required).
• Support store team in shared goals (Required).
• Bilingual abilities (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage of the visit.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, final fitting, and product education.
• Ensure customers leave feeling confident in both their eyewear and their experience.
• Assist with patient flow and pre exam screenings to support Optometrists.
• Finish and quality checks on eyewear before pickup.
• Maintain organized and clean finish and retail areas.
