Eyeglass World in Melbourne, FL is looking for an Optical Specialist to be the face of our in-store experience. You’ll provide confident service, assist customers with eyewear selection, final fitting, and ensure every order is ready for pickup.

The role emphasizes finishing quality, accurate order entry, and maintaining clean, organized work and display areas. Prior experience in optical or retail is preferred, with strong communication and multitasking skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year experience in optical, retail, sales, or customer service.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills are required.
• Clear communication and ability to educate customers effectively.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, confident, and personalized service at every stage.
• Guide customers through eyewear selection, fitting, and education.
• Ensure customers leave confident in their eyewear and experience.
• Assist with eyewear finishing and pickup processes.
• Maintain organized, clean finish and retail areas.
• Identify and resolve quality or service issues proactively.
• Uphold brand standards in service and presentation.
