Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, OR seeks a dedicated Machine Operator to operate and maintain the plant's optical sorter equipment and associated conveyors. You will monitor line flow, ensure product quality, and communicate line status to teams.

Training in safety and sanitation is provided where needed. The role requires English communication, basic math, and computer skills, with certifications in lock-out/tag-out, forklift, and sanitation often required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certifications are required or must be obtained.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot optical sorter equipment and related conveyor systems.
• Monitor line flow, adjust to maintain quality and productivity.
• Communicate line status and quality to supervisors and maintenance.
• Perform waste tests and input defects into QA system.
• Assist with downtime cleanup and sanitation of equipment.
