Job summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is seeking a L1 Palletizer Op Trainee in Boardman, OR to operate and monitor palletizing equipment. You will start and shut down systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with the warehouse to maintain production flow.

Responsibilities include monitoring feed, adjusting bag and pallet patterns, and ensuring accurate documentation. Requires a high school diploma or GED with preference for forklift certification and food manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Lock-out/Tag-out and Forklift certification.
• Food manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to multi-task multiple assignments and duties.
• Ability to navigate and operate HMIs and other technology as required.
• Ability to operate 2-way radio.
• Effective English communication, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Performs start-up and shut-down of the palletizers, wrappers, and related conveyor systems.
• Troubleshoots mechanical operations of equipment, checking for damaged cases and removing them from the line.
• Monitors line flow rates and ensures proper feed of cases and pallets for efficiency.
• Coordinates with warehouse to order materials to ensure continuous production.
• Monitors palletizing equipment, checks quality, adjusts stack patterns, and maintains supplies.
• Coordinates with lab personnel for proper dispositioning of held product.
• Completes all required paperwork to document processes and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
