Job summary

Lamb Weston in Boardman, OR seeks a L1 Palletizer Op Trainee to operate palletizing equipment, monitor flows, and coordinate with warehouse teams. Training provided; forklift certification and basic mechanical aptitude preferred. Roles include startup/shutdown, quality checks, and documentation to support efficient production.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Education/ Certifications: High School Diploma or GED preferred; Lock-out/Tag-out and Forklift certification required or trainable.
Must be able to multi-task and operate HMIs and related equipment.
Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Operates palletizers, wrappers and conveyors, including startup and shutdown.
Troubleshoots mechanical operations and removes damaged cases.
Monitors line flow rates to ensure maximum efficiency and proper feed.
Coordinates with warehouse to order materials to maintain production.
Checks cases for quality, adjusts palletizer patterns, and loads film and slip sheets.
Ensures proper load force, maintains pallet supply, and reworks bad cases.
Coordinates with lab for dispositioning held product and completes paperwork.
Performs other duties as assigned.
