Job summary

America's Best, part of National Vision, seeks an Assistant Eyeglass Manager to lead the eyeglass department and deliver exceptional customer service. You will supervise Opticians and CL Sales staff, manage staffing and training, and help drive sales to meet company goals.

Ideal candidates have bilingual English/Spanish abilities, an active optical license, and proven leadership in optical sales. National Vision offers competitive pay and benefits with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Fluent in reading and speaking English and Spanish.
Maintain Optical license as required by the state.
Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills for planning work and monitoring progress toward goals.
ABO and NCLE Certified.

Responsibilities

Drives, monitors, and achieves profit, sales and performance goals per National Vision standards.
Oversees the eyeglass department for efficiency and policy compliance.
Provides outstanding customer service and ensures staff do the same.
Ensures quality standards are met.
Manages merchandising, pricing promotions and initiatives per Brand standards.
Supervises opticians and sales associates and supports day-to-day functions.
Assists the General Manager with staffing forecasts and recruitment.
Leads and coaches staff toward sales and customer service goals.
Mentors Apprentice Opticians as permitted by law.
