Job summary

VisionWorks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through the Visionworks experience with human and bold service. You will be trained in optics, products, and managed vision care to meet eyewear needs.

The role emphasizes delivering daily sales goals, engaging with customers, and maintaining up-to-date product knowledge through ongoing training. A strong customer focus and ability to translate eyewear needs into solutions is essential.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within VisionWorks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Customer or patient experience is preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship
