The Nielsen Eye Center is seeking an Optical Sales Associate to guide patients through frame and lens selection, verify insurance benefits, and ensure a personalized experience. This role requires strong sales, customer service, and communication skills in a fast-paced ophthalmology setting.

Office locations include Quincy, Norwell, Norwood, and Weymouth, with some travel to all offices. Full- and part-time options are available; benefits apply after 90 days.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
• Able to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical setting.
• Basic math proficiency for sales transactions.
• Interest in current eyewear styles and fashion trends.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technology and systems.
• Prior retail or customer service experience (optical experience a plus).
• Bilingual skills (Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Spanish, or Portuguese) are highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients with frame and lens selection to match their prescription and personal style.
• Educate patients on eyewear options, coatings, and lens technology.
• Take accurate measurements and assist Opticians with fittings and adjustments.
• Verify vision insurance eligibility and benefits for eyewear and contact lenses.
• Process payments and maintain accurate sales and patient records.
• Inspect and check in all optical orders for accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting optical display area.
• Collaborate with the Optical Manager and team to meet department goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
