Heitmeier Eyecare in Marrero, LA is seeking an Optical Practice Manager who will lead optical sales and supervise the on-floor optical team. As a working optician, you will assist patients with eyewear selection, dispense eyewear, and perform troubleshooting while coaching staff for strong performance.

You will partner with Clinical Manager and Optometrists to ensure seamless patient care, drive revenue, and deliver an exceptional patient experience in a busy practice setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of optical experience as an Optician.
• Proven leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of optical products, lens technologies, frame styling, and insurance benefits.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Ability to balance patient care, sales, and leadership responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead optical sales performance and be the primary optical sales expert for the practice.
• Educate patients on lens technologies, frame options, and eyewear solutions.
• Drive revenue through consultative selling and excellent patient engagement.
• Coach and develop opticians, technicians, and support staff.
• Oversee daily operations, scheduling, inventory, and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure seamless patient care across the practice.
