Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to act as the meaningful first touchpoint at our on-site store location. You will deliver outstanding customer service to patients while facilitating sales and bridging the retail and clinical services teams.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group.
• Active listening, rapport building, and empathy with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit with team and patients; respectful relationships.
• Results-driven with multitasking, prioritization and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and facilitate sales and promotions.
• Foster partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule/confirm appointments and document patient history in the system.
• Assist management with patient complaint resolution and track job status.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping as needed.
• Edge lenses, assemble into frames, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and order accuracy.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure service commitments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
