Job summary

ASML US in Wilton, CT seeks a skilled Chemical Engineer to own and optimize manufacturing chemistries used in Milling and Polishing, including coolants, slurries, filtration, and fluid management. The role partners with Production Engineering, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure safe, controlled chemical processes for world-class optics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years in manufacturing process engineering or chemical process development.
  • Experience with coolants, slurries, process fluids, and chemical delivery systems.
  • Strong understanding of fluid chemistry, contamination control, filtration, and monitoring methods.
  • Experience applying SPC, root cause analysis, and data-driven problem solving.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional problem solving and change management.

Responsibilities

  • Own coolant, slurry, and chemistry processes in milling and polishing operations.
  • Develop specifications, operating windows, controls, and reaction plans.
  • Create standard work for chemical prep, handling, and changeouts.
  • Define contamination control requirements to protect optical quality.
