Job summary

ASML US in Wilton, CT seeks a Chemical Engineer to own and optimize manufacturing chemistries used in Milling and Polishing operations. You will develop, control, qualify, and continuously improve coolant systems, polishing slurries, filtration, and fluid management to impact product quality and throughput.

This role partners with Production, Quality, Metrology, EHS, Supply Chain, Facilities, and suppliers to ensure safe, robust chemical processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, chemical process development, industrial fluid management, or related technical environment.
• Experience with industrial coolants, polishing slurries, process fluids, cleaning chemistries, and chemical delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Own chemical process for coolant, slurry, and chemistry in milling and polishing operations.
• Define specs, operating windows, controls, and reaction plans.
• Develop standard work for chemical prep, management, replenishment, filtration, changeout, storage, handling.
• Implement containment, sampling plans, and documentation for process stability.
• Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for defects and process upsets.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, DOE and data-driven methods.
