BJ’s Wholesale Club in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the optical team, oversee patient service, scheduling, and lab coordination. This role focuses on coaching staff and delivering excellent member care.

You will ensure orders are accurate and processed promptly, maintain privacy compliance, and drive sales while managing opening/closing procedures. This full‑time position emphasizes leadership and accountability.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to work as an optician within the state and keep license up to date.
• Excellent leadership and team coaching abilities.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work open shifts and weekends as needed.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level member service including calls and eye exam scheduling.
• Manage optical department team and coaching.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and timely with the lab.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
• Educate patients on products and drive sales targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
