Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking an Optical Manager to lead the Optical department, coach team members, and ensure timely order processing in a high-volume retail setting.

You will interact with Members, manage appointments, train staff, and uphold privacy standards while driving sales and operational excellence. This role requires leadership, attention to detail, and strong communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of optical products and business practices.
• Minimum two years’ experience in a retail Optical setting.
• Open shift availability and at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of Member service in person and over the phone.
• Manage Optical department team and coach for performance.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy compliance and secure handling of patient information.
• Oversee daily opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
• Educate patients on product benefits to meet sales goals.
