Job summary

Walman Optical in Omaha, NE is seeking an Associate Technician to set up, operate and maintain equipment for surface or finish tasks in the lab. You will perform production operations, interpret Rx work tickets, and troubleshoot equipment as needed to keep the line flowing.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks of area production machine functions.
• Interpretation of Rx work ticket.
• Perform production operations on specified equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform basic/routine maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot mal-functioning equipment and advise supervisor as to possible remedy.
• Prepare all necessary solutions or slurry mixtures for lens production process and insure supplies are available.
• Calibrate equipment daily/weekly as directed by supervisor.
