Job summary

LensCrafters in Appleton, WI seeks an Optical Technician Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations and assist in delivering high-quality eye care. This full-time, on-site role partners with the Managing Doctor to ensure accurate lens fabrication, testing, and timely patient service.

The role includes scheduling, training, coaching staff, maintaining safety and HIPAA compliance, and collaborating with store leadership to optimize patient flow and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and coach a team.
• Ability to manage time effectively and problem solve.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient data handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab/ optical service operations to ensure quality control.
• Coordinate technician schedules and assign work.
• Train and mentor optical technicians.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure timely appointment execution.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient records.
